Counselling + Consultancy + Library
Families where there is an individual with Autism often feel isolated and cut off from society. To address this, we have started individual counseling sessions as well as group counseling.
During these Focused group Discussion sessions are information is exchanged given on topics such as stress management , solving eating and sleeping problems, helping siblings and members of the extended families, managing others’ reactions, exploring treatment options and looking to the future. Parents can during such sessions explore and develop their own resources in a supportive environment over a few weeks. We also invite doctors, psychiatrists and other professionals from time to time to talk to parents and other family members.
Consultancy
This is often the first point of contact with families. During such sessions families can meet one of our therapists to discuss their concerns about their child or family member with ASD. During the sessions we with the family arrive at the best course of action for getting help for their child.
Library
