Parents forum of ASWB is organizing a workshop on 3rd April 2016. The workshop will focus the importance of creating an environment at home, which facilitates learning and growth for the individuals with autism. We are happy to have at this workshop, two renowned professionals
Dr. J. R. Ram, (child and adolescent psychiatrist), & Dr. Pransanta Roy (a well known clinical psychologist). They will focus on parents & family member’s parenting style as well as how the family members can positively deal with their own emotions while supporting a person with autism in the family.
Mrs. Indrani Basu will discuss the competing roles that parents at times play in being the child’s “therapist” and the child’s parents. We are also looking forward to the Parent’s Speak segment where parents will share their stories of how they find time and at times innovative ways to support their child with autism. Child care is available at the venue. Spot registration is possible BUT there are limited seats at this workshop so register early to avoid disappointment.
